Other details:In October 1943, the Japanese soldiers invaded our village and pursued the policy of “burn all, kill all, loot all”. They committed all kinds of crimes: stabbed five people to death; forced people to jump into the well and threw a hand grenade, killing 21 people; burned more than 60 houses; looted a lot of property; raped more than 10 women, 3 of whom were killed. My grandfather, uncle, father were killed by the Japanese soldiers.

We are writing this letter for one thing only, that is we learned of the news that in your letter addressed to the population nationwide you demand Japanese government to offer compensation for the crimes in the Japanese Invasion War, I want to talk about the situation back then in our village for your reference.
In October 1943, the Japanese Invasion Army left Huaxian county and entered our village, where they implemented barbarian “Burn All, Kill All, Loot All” policy. The Japanese Army forced common villagers in our village to gather together (a small number of villagers escaped), then they stabbed 5 persons to death, and forced some villagers jump into a well, and smashed rocks into the well before tossing hand grenades, which resulted in 21 violent deaths. They subsequently set fire to over 60 houses in our village, looted about 60 heads of cattle, a huge quantity of clothing and articles, and raped several dozen women, among whom 3 were killed. My family also experienced this calamity, they committed towering crimes.
