Comrade Tong Zeng:
Thank you for taking time to rely me, for pursuing justice for Chinese people victimized by Japanese invaders and for defending our national interests.
I am sending form with collected signatures from victims of Japan’s war of aggression against China within the grain supply systems from different Provinces. These comrades have been very sick of the damage the Japanese invasion had caused and greatly grieved for their losses since the war and hope that the government can help them recover their losses.
The amounts of losses listed in the form are not calculated in detail, but are the minimum amounts, which show that the Japanese army brought a great disaster of blood and fire to anywhere they went. They all said that the invading Japanese army implemented the Three Extinctions Policy anywhere they went with no exception, and that it was painful to recall the memories. According to comrade Zhao Ruicai from Wuyang, He’nan, he was a poor farmer and fled to the mountains to be a laborer after the Japanese army came. His father was killed at home by the Japanese and over 200 people from Shangdian, Wuyang were buried alive. According to comrade Li Xiaoyou, the Japanese army was even crueler in Huguan, Shanxi. They Japanese army burned his family’s 3 houses, killed 3 family members and captured another 3. Over 30 people from his village were killed, nearly 30 women were raped and 80% of the village was burned. Dongqiao, Huawang, Anren, Hu’nan also suffered badly. You XX and Chen XX from my village were raped and 7 villagers were killed. Two were from a paper-making family and killed while they were making paper. Three of my family members died due to the bacteria warfare. About 95% of the people affected by the bacteria warfare and suffered from rotten feet. Everyone in my family suffered the infection with no exception. We had to sold fields to seek medical treatment. A signature form is provided below.
Best regards,
Chen Chongjun
