I read the article of “A Wave of Claim for Civilian Compensation…” on the 5th Edition of your newspaper of December 27, 1992. I think it’s a very good article. I indignantly recall the barbaric crimes of the invading Japanese army.
I am a victim of the invading Japanese army and I will indignantly accuse their crimes. Before the dawn of May 8, 1940 (lunar June 9), the invading Japanese army stationed at Wazikou, Xiao County suddenly attacked Fangwulou Village in the second district of Xiao County. The invading Japanese army heavily bombed the village, killing and injuring innocent people. I was sleeping in a wheat field and waken up by gunshots. As I ran fast to leave the village, my right ischium was smashed by the bombing and my left leg was shot through by bullets. Although I had several major operations to have broken bones and shrapnel taken out, Many of them still remain in my body, , leading to my permanent disability.
I am over 75 years old now and a victim of the invading Japanese army. I demand a compensation for my loss in accordance to international laws and regulations.
I request your newspaper to forward my accusation against the invading Japanese army to related departments and to Comrade Tong Zeng, a lecturer of law department, the Beijing Chemical and Administrative Cadre Institute as a record sealed with my signature.
