Other Details:My father Bai Qingfeng was born in Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province. In August 1945, my father and someone called Gao were tied up to the telegraph poles by the road and shot to death by Japanese army.

My father was from ‘Manchuria’, a worker of Jixi Power Plant (now Heilongjiang Jixi City Power Plant). My father was called Bai Qingfeng. Before Japan’s retreat in August, 1945, the guarding Japanese soldiers captured and tied up my father on a telegraph pole beside the railway at the gate of ‘Manzi Mining Machine’, now Coal Machinery Factory, on his way from the plant dormitory to my grandmother’s home. He was then killed together with another man called Gao.
