I live in Dongkongguo Village, Dongzhang Town, Linfeng City, Shanxi Province.On May 27, 1937, the sun was barely up when the Japanese Army suddenly surrounded our village. Villagers ran for their lives one after another. My parents and grandma took me, my 7-year old brother, and two sisters aged 9 and 4 to leave. Soon after we exited the gate, we were discovered by the Japanese soldiers who opened fire on the spot. My father was hit at the waist. Then soldiers approached and fire another shot, killing my father instantly. They then stabbed my grandma and mother with bayonets. Worse, the Japanese soldiers cut my two sisters and brother into halves! Altogether, they killed 6 members of my family and destroyed my home. I was left to live a lonely life in bitterness. For this reason, I demand the Government of Japan to pay compensation for my losses.
