Comrade Tong,
I am a cadre of Hubei International Trade Corporation. I have one thing to ask you. Please take some time to reply to me while you are very busy .
After reading your article published on People’s Daily about claiming reparations against Japan, I went back to my hometown – Houbianguai Village, Puyang City, Hunan Province, conducted field investigation and then verified that there were two ancestors in my family killed by the Japanese army: one was the father of my grandfather who was shot and killed in 1938 and the other was the elder male cousin of my grandfather (no descendants) who was buried alive in 1938. My question is: Is this within the scope of reparations? If so, what procedures shall I go through?
I will appreciate it very much if you could reply. .
Sincerely,
Bian Xiangchun
