I have a personal request. My biological father was CHENG Xijiu, and he also used the name CHENG Shouxin. He was taken away by Japanese military police corps in Jiuchi Hospital which was established by himself and located in Jingyu North 7th Street, Daowai District, Harbin, in fall of 1940. His hospital was shut down. My mother, my two-year-old sister and myself (I was only 7 months old back then) went hiding and survived. My mother spent all our money bribing people to get information about where my father was, but she failed. But we heard later that my father died in the prison of the headquarters of Japanese military police station. You could imagine how hard life was to the three of us.
When I was in college (Beijing Institute of Industry, now known as Beijing Institute of Technology) and worked at the boiler factory of Harbin, political investigations proved that my father died in Japanese prison. If you could demand justice from Japan on behalf of my family, my father CHENG Xijiu would rest in peace.
